We are pleased to announce the launch of the brand new version of Iconkits.com. This is the 7th redesign since the original launch back in 2003. We have spent more than 2 months working on it, and we believe it turned out excellent. In addition to the new web design, the website is now running fully on Expression Engine.

With this new version we are also introducing a new VIP membership service, with brand new stock icons. A VIP membership only cost a one-time fee of $20.00. You will then get lifetime access to all current and future stock icons in our steadily growing VIP section. You can also become a VIP member by purchasing any of the Iconkits.com products.

Lately we’ve been really busy working for clients, and during the last month we’ve completed an sweet icon suite for Microsoft. A preview of the icon suite will be posted in the Portfolio as soon their service goes live.

We’ve also been working on a new version of Iconkits.com. It’s almost been a tradition to redesign the site once a year.

This new version is undoubtedly the best looking so far and the whole backend has been rebuilt on Expression Engine. There will also be a new exciting service and of course new stock icons. We can’t tell you more at the moment, but the new version will go live sometime in April.

Our handy little web application to create PDF invoices has been very well received by small businesses and free-lancers around the world. At times it’s been so heavily used that our server became overloaded. It’s now running on a new dedicated server to handle the increased traffic.

However, since the server move it haven’t been working correctly. The PDF file does not render, instead it shows up a bunch on characters. We apologize for this and thank you for your patience while we’re trying to figure out a solution.

We are currently working on version 2.0 and we’ve put up a little video teaser to demonstrate some of the new features and the lovely new interface. The Invoice Machine 2.0 will soon be open for voluntary beta testers and hopefully the final version will be ready to release in a couple of months.

We are very pleased to announce the new website of Bombia Design. This is the 6th version and we have put a tremendous amount of time and effort into it to make it as good as possible.

The new design is a single column layout with a color theme of dark blue, green and light grey. While we were designing the website we tried to keep everything as simple and clean as possible.

We have changed our sections a little. One new section is the Products section where you can learn more about our cool products. In the Services section you can read a little about the services we offer and you can also see how an icon is created from sketch to final render. The Goodies section features two new icon sets, all icons coming in large sizes (512x512) for both Mac OS X Leopard and Windows Vista. The Portfolio has been updated with more of our work showcased and a list of our clients.

It’s not only the design that’s new, the entire website is now running on a dedicated server using Expression Engine as back-end which replaced the old custom built one. After considering a few content management systems we were swayed by Expression Engine’s way of handling multiple sections, customizable options, and neat interface.
